The respirator is supplied with two special activated carbon filter elements for protection against many gases, vapours, dust and mists. When the filters are saturated, they can be replaced with spare filters. These offer versatile protection against substances in concentrations of up to 5,000 ppm.Service lifeFilters can be used until they are saturated and the wearer finds them uncomfortable or until the activated carbon is used up and the wearer can smell/taste the contaminant. The service life depends on the working environment, the working methods and the type of dust sources. The filter performance remains constant throughout use. All masks are supplied with a sealable aluminium bag for storage to optimise the life of the activated carbon.
