For the Top Roller, Mixol is added as a marking dye so that previously treated shoots or trees can be identified. The Mixol concentrates offered for the Top and Turbo Rollers are specifically intended to distinguish between treated and untreated trees.

In Christmas tree cultivation, the following ratio is commonly used:

20–30 ml of Mixol per liter of Promoxon working solution
This corresponds to approximately 2–3% dye concentration. For greater visibility, concentrations of up to about 5% are sometimes used.

Suggestion:

Start with 2% (20 ml/liter).
Test on a few trees.
Increase the amount only if necessary.
